I saw this excellent video by The Gregory Brothers about a week ago and despite being copied by a lot of other youtube users they still received more than 6 million! views so far for that video alone. I spent hours watching this video over and over and over again. If this was an intended song, I wouldn't even look at it twice.
I shared it on facebook but my friends seem to ignore it, probably because they thought it was just another music video. But hey guys, this is not "just another music video"! It's a news story turned into a music video. Get it? Did you know that T-Pain can't sing?
Maybe it's because a lot of people still don't know what Autotune is. It's a pitch correcting plugin that made T-Pain a lot of money. If people watched the original interview before watching the video above maybe they'd appreciate it more. In my opinion, it's one real piece of genius. It's frivolous, but it's genius.
